A Sunday school teacher began her lesson with a question, “Boys and girls, what do we know about God? A hand shot up in the air, “He is an artist!” said the kindergarten boy. “Really? How do you know?” the teacher asked.
I want to share something with you that has touched my heart greatly this past week. (I think I’ve read it a 100 times – well, maybe that’s just a tad exaggerated, but I have indeed read it many, many times, often bringing tears to my eyes.)

How exciting to see God’s Word become personal and powerful in the hearts of new believers. Zito, our gardener, is growing in the Lord and desires to please Him. Honoring the spirits of a deceased family member is very common. Many Mozambicans believe that pleasing the spirits of the dead is what brings prosperity and vice versa.
I just wanted to drop a note to those who are concerned about the FLU that seems to be going around. TBS will have school tomorrow (Monday, October 19th)! Many parents are concerned about H1N1 as are we. TBS will take a close look on Monday at what students are out and for what reasons, however we are not going to close school.

The Lady Patriot’s lost their first game this afternoon, so have to work their way through the loser’s bracket beginning at 8a tomorrow. The bus leaves the parsonage at 6a if you would like to come along!
