my weekend

The weekend was refreshing – a great blessing. Many events demanded my time and thoughts this weekend: graduation receptions (3), out-of-town guests, Sunday services, TBS graduation, and, oh yes, taking time to reflect on the sacrifices made that we might live in this United States.

I want to thank you for praying for the open house last week for Luke and Jessica. There were many Deaf that came, which I think was a blessing to all of us. We played a game where you “travel” with each person adding something to their suitcase before passing it on to the next person. The gist of the game is to remember what everyone has packed.

Troesters in Mozambique

If you have been traveling along with us on our journey, you know that we passed through raising support, landed here in Mozambique (shipping and receiving our container), found a car and found a house. We have been meandering through culture and language differences which are not a few. This will be ongoing. Through all of this, God has a plan for Joanie and my spiritual growth.
