Today we will have our first interpreter’s meeting. I’ve tried to invite everyone that is interested in improving their interpreter skills and we are hoping for a good turnout. This is just the first of many steps in organizing an association here in Sucre. This is also a first for me as well and I have to admit that I’m a little nervous, so would sure appreciate your prayers.

Merry Christmas from our computer to yours!! I know that many of you recently received Jon’s ‘Bergen Bridge’, but I thought it would be fun to catch you up some on ‘family life’.

As we come to the close of 2009, we want to take time to reflect on all that God has done throughout this past year. We have so much to be thankful for, and so much to look forward to. At the beginning of this year God brought together the finances sufficient for us to proceed with our move to Mozambique. Bringing everything together for loading our container was an experience.

We will not have Awana or Bible Studies tonight on account of the continued blowing snow warnings.
