TBS had a successful evening at the Holiday Inn Friday night. The room was full – lots of new people. Our gross for the evening was right at $10,000. – down from the past couple of years. With a recent donation that will be directed towards the auction fund, we will be over our budget again this year.
Psalm 12:8 “The wicked freely strut about when what is vile is honored among men.” NIV What an enlightening commentary upon what is happening in America today. The more we honor things that God has shamed, the more brazen the wicked will become.
The TBS Patriot’s played a great basketball game last night. In the end they lost to a larger, stronger home school team from northeast Wisconsin. Through 3 and a half quarters it was a very close game.
The Newchaa Eagles put man-to-man, full-court pressure against the Patriots throughout the game. The Patriots held up well against the attack.
Tonight’s girl’s BB games have been canceled. The guy’s game is still on.
Dave Rabe’s dad passed away Saturday evening. Pray for their family this week. The funeral is at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Eldorado on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Visitation at the church begins at 10:00 a.m.
