Our planet does not get called the blue planet for nothing. Events of the last month on Kosrae have put into perspective just how important water is and how often we take it for granted. It is amazing how people on Kosrae have been both running from it and desperately seeking it.
I have had significant computer challenges – well OK they were for me significant 🙂 – and have heard from many that the update e-mail last sent out did not get far. It may still be in cyber space or just fell off the wire on the way! I wrote to let you know I was back in the USA from my last overseas trip and saw the LORD work in marvelous ways and certainly beyond my plans.
Thank you to all who prayed for Lin. Last Friday on our visit to our family doctor, it was determined that heart burn was likely her chest pain culprit. I guess 22 year of living with me has taken its toll! She is adjusting to some meds and feels better than she has for months. Thanks for praying and praise the Lord with us.
Thanks to those of you who prayed when you were told that Lin was taken to ER with possible heart pain. The tests there on her heart came back “all clear.” We still have unanswered questions and will try to see our GP tomorrow.
The High School Speech class of TBS is going to hold a debate this Wednesday at 12:45p. The class has been divided in half and will debate Pro-Life vs Pro-Choice. Parents and friends of TBS are welcome to attend this debate. Adults in attendance will be asked to be members of our judges panel in determining which side wins the debate. Please come.
