Brechin Bridge – June, 2010

We have had a busy and productive time of late, mixed in with several frustrations. So to start with the events that are keeping us busy and blessed; This spring we did an extra Bible study called ‘Christianity Explored’ that took us into April. We were disappointed because we had done a lot to promote it as an open Bible study to the city.

Thursday in Jerusalem

Thursday was a short day of touring so far. We saw the city from the Mount of Evil Counsel – south side, home of the United Nations building and where Ahithophel was from. Then visited the Western Wall and the South Wall Excavations. We went browsing through a “high end” mall and had a quick lunch there. Tonight we go through the rabbinical tunnels along the western wall of the temple mount.

Via Dolorosa

Tony and I walked the Via Dolorosa today. It is the traditional 14 stations of the cross. Then we went to Gordan’s Calvary and the Garden Tomb. If one can see past the present conflicts and see through the traditions, the rocks speak the story of Jesus Christ. The geography of the place is not hidden by 2,000 years.
