I am in my office this morning trying to find my desk and my soul. It has been a busy weekend. Lin and I served over 60 meals at our home from Saturday night to Sunday night. Then we left with Rory and Christa for the Wisconsin Fellowship of Baptist Churches’ annual meeting in New Lisbon. I returned back home last night around 8.
I don’t like to start out with bad news. But will get it out of the way and move on to the more positive things to end. We all know that God is awesome, but there are days that the adversary likes to try to get his licks in as well… It has been a month of mixed heartache and blessing. The lives of several have been deeply affected by sin and godlessness.
We finish our “Chasing the Wind” series this Lord’s Day. Sunday School will examine more wisdom for living from chapter 10. Then we will examine the “Conclusion of the Whole Matter” in the 10a service. Jeremy Shaeffer is our evening service preacher.

We were able to view a picture in Sunday School yesterday of Sarah and her luggage in when Jon picked her up in Aberdeen, Scotland. Then yesterday afternoon, Lin and I spoke with her on the phone from Jon and Ruth’s place in Brechin. Other than being grilled for a while by customs in London, she had a fairly uneventful trip.
