I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME WITH MY FAMILY HERE and I’m still just as “crazy” as a grandmother! I think it has to have been my happiest week of 2010. René and Rafahel were indeed able to rest. We shared much, laughed a great deal and well, just plain had a wonderful time of being together. While I did do some work, I am a tad bit behind this week. Complaints? None!!!
It was a great day at TBC yesterday. We heard good preaching from 2 Corinthians 5-6 and Jonah. Thanks to Pastor Rory and Missionary David Booth for faithfully handling the Word of God.
We are grateful for the opportunities the Lord allows for us to be involved in His harvest. The harvest is so great and we are so few and so limited in our influence on those around us. Our confidence is in the Lord, that He would do His work.
We have had a busy and productive time of late, mixed in with several frustrations. So to start with the events that are keeping us busy and blessed; This spring we did an extra Bible study called ‘Christianity Explored’ that took us into April. We were disappointed because we had done a lot to promote it as an open Bible study to the city.
Some of the sweetest words you will ever hear are spoken by the US Passport control agent … “Welcome Home.” Tony and I are back in the USA. We had a great trip. I’ll post pictures in days to come. Thanks to those who prayed for us.
