Lin, Beth, Charlie, and I will be in Cherokee, Iowa this Lord’s Day for a family reunion – 100 of my dad’s grandfather’s descendants. Pastor Rory will be preaching from 2 Corinthians 12. I have enjoyed the sermons I have been privileged to catch in this series.
Pastor Rory, Christa, and their family are at Northland Camp this week with 8 young people from TBC. Pray for a spiritually challenging week for the young people. Pray for a good week of fellowship and growth for the Martins.
She was cooking porridge and directing her household from beside her stove. Laughter and chatter of her children and their friends filled the small room. “Pedro, your uniform for school is pressed and on your bed,” she spoke gently to her youngest son. “Martins, your piano book is right there on the shelf,” she spoke to her oldest son, pointing with her wooden spoon.
I do not have much time, but wanted to write and thank you for all of your prayers. I made it safely to Oklahoma, though it was a tiring 2 day trip! God was with me throughout the entire trip. (Isn’t He always?)
