The TBS Soccer team upset Utica to take 3rd at the tournament!
How we need you to bring us before our Father the next few days!! Jon and I were at a conference when Jon’s cell phone went off. It was the head teacher of the high school. One of the 15 year old boys has died of an aneurism. Jon has been asked to be at the high school on Monday and just be there for the kids to answer any questions they might have.
The guys lost first round against a tough team from Coleman. They play Utica tomorrow – a team they split with during the season – for 3rd place. The girls beat LaCrosse in 5 games. It was a long match. They had lost to LaCrosse twice during the season. They play Waupaca for 1st place tomorrow. They split with Waupaca during the regular season.
Mr. Shaeffer was informed last night that the Oberreich Foundation will not be giving Trinity Baptist School the $16,000 requested in the grant application. Rather, they want to give TBS $20,000 so as to help move TBS more quickly towards stated goals! The Oberreich Foundation grant will update the technology used in TBS classrooms as well as bring equipment and resources to the new library.
It’s Church Dinner Sunday. Bring enough for yourselves and a couple more and join us for lunch after church. In Sunday School and after Church Dinner our speaker is Missionary Dan Boyd to Holland. Dan will present his burden for Holland in Sunday School and bring our devotions in the afternoon.
