Thank you for your prayers this week. Jon spent Monday and Tuesday at the high school as a counsellor available for the teens to speak with if they needed someone.
Our church people stepped up and graciously fixed the grieving family meals each day this week so they could spend time with family and not have to shop.
The missionary who asked to come and present his ministry to Hawaii has canceled his trip to Wisconsin. Ryan Martin is going to step in and teach our adult Sunday School classes this Lord’s Day. Ryan is home to visit family after finishing his comprehensive tests for his doctorate. In the morning service I will be preaching from Genesis 2 – “A Perfect World.”
The funeral for Herb Braker will be at the Columbus Church of the Nazarene, 755 Waterloo Street, Columbus, WI at 3:00p on Saturday, November 6, 2010. Visitation will be from noon to 3:00p at the church. Color guard to follow. Herb Braker had 8 children. One sister is coming home from China. Please pray for their family.
The grandfather of Tony Braker and Paul Braker died this morning from injuries he received in a car accident Tuesday evening. Phil’s family is flying in from New Mexico today. Please pray for the Braker family.
The TBS soccer and volleyball teams had a succesfull weekend. The guys entered the soccer tournament ranked 4th and left with the 3rd place trophy. They beat Utica 4-2 on Saturday. The girls entered the volleyball tournament ranked 3rd and left with the 2nd place trophy. The girls beat LaCrosse on Friday. Charlie Leeds and Brittany Kleinmaus received All-State recognition.
