Winter has arrived! I am most blessed indeed to have a nice, warm, cozy apartment to stay in at this time of the year. I was able to talk to Cynthia’s mom this past week with Cynthia standing there so her mom could interpret for me. It was a blessing to be able to communicate with Cynthia in this way. We tried to do Chat the next day, but it didn’t work out.
We have two members of the Maranatha Baptist Bible College science faculty ministering with us this Lord’s Day. Mr. Bud Downs will be teaching on issues relating to creation and evolution in our adult Sunday School classes. Dr. Paul Molitor will be teaching our teens during Sunday School and will take our youngest children during junior church.
You just gotta love teen aged boys. They are brutally honest and they haven’t quite learned the art of tactfulness. I prayed with a group of 5 teens guys Wednesday night at church.
“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made, marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
“O come let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.” We have much to be thankful for, so let us wholeheartedly give thanks to our Lord.
