We were going to begin a series on Family Finances in our adult SS classes this week. We are going to have to postpone this series for a couple of weeks because of family commitments that our teacher has. So this week in Sunday School I am going to talk about a couple of words we often use to describe our church: “independent” and “fundamental.”
The referendum for independence is this entire week long process. Many issues are still unresolved but this could be a start of a new nation & new opportunities for Christ’s servants to minister! Join us in prayer for His will on earth as it is in heaven and God’s people to see it and follow.

The virtual library has been put on hold. Now I am packing things to move to a new place, trying to get my “thank you’s” done for my supporters, endeavoring to keep up on all my email (I think it just might be a lost cause), and getting ready to visit my folks once again in Oklahoma.
Janet Russell has been in the hospital this week. She is doing better. Pray that she might get strong enough to return home.
This Lord’s Day Missionary Caleb Stein will be presenting his ministry to Peru in Sunday School and in the evening service. I will be beginning a series on the book of Romans that I have titled “Live by Faith.” Sunday’s installment will be “Paul the Slave.”
