Carolyn Price – July 1, 2011

On September 19, 1955, a little three day old baby was taken home to parents who had adopted her.  Lora and Arvil Price had chosen to give this little girl a much needed home.   Sadly, they were divorced two years later.  I don’t really remember very much about Arvil.  The only memory I have of him, as a two year old, is of an instance where I waiting for him to get home.&

In our adult Sunday School hour Darryl Mayes will continue his new series of pictures from the Old Testament called “Sticks, Stones, and Running Waters.” In the morning preaching service I am leaving our Romans’ series for this 4th of July weekend to discuss the relationship of Christians and government. In the evening service we will celebrate Lord’s Table.

Brechin Bridge – June 28, 2011

Jon and I have both been quite ill.  Both of us have been to the Dr and we both are on antibiotics for different infections.  I can finally blink without feeling like I want to scream – that is how bad we have been hurting.  I have been basically in my bed for a week now, Jon has been since Friday.  This is the last week of our school year, so we are supposed to be getting thin
