Lin Leeds, Kim Struska, and 4 members of this year’s Patriots’ volleyball team are at Maranatha Baptist Bible College this week for team camp. Pray for them as they endure the workouts and the heat. Pray more that they have a spiritual, bonding time.
The Heritage Singers of Maranatha Baptist Bible College are our guests this Lord’s Day morning. They will be singing and ministering to us during the Sunday School hour and singing a package during the morning service. In the morning service I will be preaching from Romans 10. After considering God’s Mercy in Romans 9 we see that “faith” and “belief” are the means of our access to mercy.
I want to thank everyone for praying for my visit with Arvil Price. It was an interesting visit to say the least. His first comment to me was that he had thought I was still going to be a little girl. I surprised him on both counts!
This past Lord’s Day, Darryl Mayes continued his Sunday School hour series by showing us different uses of the English word “rock” in the Bible. I think I remember him saying there are 39 different biblical language words that can be translated rock or stone.
