On Thursday, March 31st I had opportunity to attend Day at the Capitol sponsored by Julaine Appling and the Wisconsin Family Council. It was a great day. I was able to hear from both the campaigns of both Supreme Court candidates. The Fitzgerald brothers not only gave us an update on the Wisconsin Legislature but also fielded questions.
Last Friday, Lin and I attended the Baptist for Life banquet held at Calvary Baptist in Watertown. The evening was a fundraiser as well as a report on the activites of Baptist for Life and the 4 women’s centers associated with Baptist for Life. These centers are in Madison, Milwaukee, LaCrosse, and Appleton.
We will being our Easter celebration during the 8:45a Sunday School hour with a Passion Service. We will observe the Lord’s Table and our music, Scriptures, and Preaching will focus upon the death of Christ. We will share a fellowship time between the services with coffee and donut holes. During the 10a service, we will celebrate the resurrection of Christ.

Randy Martin continued his series on family finances during this past week’s Sunday School hour. He focused upon the problems brought by debt and how to rid your home of debt. I continued my series in Romans. We see in the early part of Romans 5 our new resources as children of God. On Sunday evening Pastor Rory continued his series in Daniel. He focused upon the Sovereignty of God from Daniel 2.
