Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 34:1-3 “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. 3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.” I pray this letter finds you rejoicing in God with David. May His Name and praise continually be in our mouths.
We have our regular Awana and Bible studies tonight. I praise the Lord for the good things happening on Wednesday evenings at Trinity Baptist Church. There is a lot of good activity! Tomorrow, our TBS faculty travels to the Dells for the Wisconsin Association of Christian School Educator’s Convention. We will spend a day and a half attending sessions, listening to preaching, and fellowshipping with other Christian educators. Pray for our safety and edification.
This Sunday I return to Ephesians 4:1-16 for part 3 of One Gifted Church. In these last few verses we will really get down to the purpose of the church. At 5:00 p.m. on Sunday the Christian Education Committee meets to talk about Sunday School, Awana, etc for the coming months. At 6:30 p.m. we will have our 1st Quarter Congregational Meeting. Come and hear a review of our church finances and reports from ministries of TBC.
All men are welcome to join our Tuesday morning Bible study. We walked through Acts 13 this past week. 4 of us are enjoying an early morning hour of reading, thinking on the Scripture, and prayer.
Pray for Mollie H to fully recover from covid pneumonia. I spoke with my cousin Paul last night. (We prayed for him after his snowmobile accident last winter.) He is still in therapy to regain fine motor skills and strength in his left hand, but he and his doctors are greatly encouraged. He appreciates all who prayed. Continue to pray for strength, patience, and healing for Kathy R. I believe she has about 9 weeks of chemo left.
Ben B, Tom G, and William M were great blessings to the Hills yesterday in helping them move. Praise the Lord.
Grandparents’ Day at TBS is a week from Friday. Get your reservation in to Beth by Monday so we can have a place set for you. It is an open house. All are welcome. Lunch in the basement is at 11:45 a.m. with a short patriotic program to follow.
Pray for our country. Pray for the gospel to impact those you meet. May Jesus be exalted in our lives.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
