Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 1:3 He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper. In my devotion Bible, I have begun the psalms again. I am reminded today that the psalms speaks of two ways of living. Psalm 1 describes them as the godly and the wicked. In the end the godly prosper and the wicked perish. The best part, the LORD knows the way of the godly. God knows the life I live. He knows my path because it is His.
Continue to pray for health for Norma D and Jean W. I know they both covet your prayers. Tom G’s ear is no better. Pray that they will figure out how to open it up again so he can hear better. Pray for Rebekah – our missionary in the Ukraine. Pray that the Taylors might receive their visa to go to Mozambique.
We have no school at Trinity Baptist today due to the wind chills and the distance some of our students have to travel. The weather service’s wind chill advisory ends at noon and it is going to warm up a little. We will plan on having Awana and adult Bible study this evening.
Th Carter’s Homebuilders will have dinner at my home tomorrow evening. This is my pay off of their purchase at last year’s auction. On Friday evening the Brakers will host Acts 29, the young adult Bible study/activity.
Souped Up! is a week from tomorrow. If you would like to reserve an order for pick up next Thursday, you should turn in that order to Beth on Sunday. Make sure your family gets your favorite.
Sunday is Church Dinner day!
The first line of Revelation is “The Revelation of Jesus Christ.” I have chosen this for the title of our sermon series that begins Sunday. It is my prayer that we see Jesus revealed to our knowledge and spirit in a powerful way in the weeks to come. Perhaps you think you know Jesus, but have you met Him as revealed in Revelation?
