Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, This morning in staff devos we read Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.” I like to think of this as a large banner flying over my life that reads “NO CONDEMNATION!” Along comes Satan and accuses me, but my banner reads “NO CONDEMNATION!” Now enters my conscience condemning me and my status remains “NO CONDEMNATION!” Praise God my debt is settled and the victory is Christ’s! My status now and forever is “NO CONDEMNATION!”
Pray for the ministries and leaders of this church. Satan would have no greater joy than to ruin us and take away from the glory of Christ in us. Pray for God’s wisdom and protection.
Saturday night, February 11th, at 5:00 p.m. is our annual Family Valentine Party. This is for all those from newborn to 100 years! We will enjoy a pot luck meal at 5:00 p.m. followed by group games and a short devotional. If you have any questions, speak to Sue C or Brianna S.
This Sunday afternoon, February 12th, at 5:00 p.m. we will have a Christian Education Committee. If you are on that committee you should be receiving an agenda from me later this week. There will be teen/adult choir, but there will not be children’s choir because Sarah and I are part of the Christian Education Committee.
On Sunday, February 19th, we will be feeding our guests from Maranatha Baptist University – the soccer teams. Beth will have sign ups out this Sunday if you would be willing to help by bringing food or serving. I will be preaching in the morning service, but the MBU team will have the Sunday School hour and will sing in the morning service.
Pray for one another. Pray for those grieving. Kathy R tells me her most recent scan is clear. Praise God! It was good to have the Bill and Kim S back in church after being ill for 2 months. They are traveling south to see family in the weeks to come. My Uncle Dave has been told he may begin drinking food!
Pray for our country. We will have voter information available on Sunday for the February 21st election. This election is very important!
