Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family,
Psalm 68:1-3 Let God arise, Let His enemies be scattered; let those also who hate Him flee before Him. 2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away; as wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God. 3 But let the righteous be glad; Let them rejoice before God; Yes, let them rejoice exceedingly.
I believe the 6 of us who attended the Pastors & Wives’ Retreat on Monday and Tuesday benefitted from our time away. There were about 60 from around Wisconsin at Calvary Baptist Church in Sauk City, WI. It’s a beautiful area, alongside the Wisconsin River. Thank you for enabling your pastors and their wives this opportunity.
Jeanne R has been suffering from intense pain in her back and leg since before Christmas. She is going to have an injection tomorrow. Pray that this relieves her pain and allows her to resume a more normal life.
Continue to pray for Carolyn O to gain strength and energy. Also continue to pray for those who are grieving. Pray too for Emma S – that they might find the right solution to the extra eye lashes she has.
Tonight is a normal evening of Awana and Bible Study. Much good happens at Trinity Baptist on Wednesday night. Children have received Christ this year and much edification takes place. Awana Grand Prix is April 3rd.
Sarah, Lin, and I will be in the Des Moines area this weekend. Lin’s nephew is getting married on Saturday. I’m sorry we will miss our guest this weekend. Julaine Appling, our missionary with Wisconsin Family Council, is going to teach teen/adult Sunday School, bring a greeting in the morning service, and bring the devotional thought after church dinner. Bring a dish to share for lunch and come for a good day. Pastor Shaeffer is preaching from Ezra 9 in the morning service.
May you rejoice in all the good of God. Every good thing is a gift from our Heavenly Father. May we be grateful.
Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints.
