Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family: It is really weird to have no plans to attend church this evening. I am so accustomed to a mid-week service that it seems like something is grossly out of place. In case you have forgotten, we have no Awana or Wednesday Bible study this evening.

On New Year’s Eve, Saturday evening, we have a time of food, fun, and fellowship that begins with a pot luck dinner at 6:00 p.m. Bring a dish to share and come hungry! After dinner we are going to play Pastordy. It’s a TBC game show that is fun for everyone.

New Year’s Day is the Lord’s Day this year. During our Sunday School hour Van and Nestor’s class is continuing their walk through Nehemiah. I am beginning a new book study from Numbers – “Wilderness Wanderings.” In the morning service, I am resuming our walk through the prophecies of Hosea. It’s uncanny how applicable this book is to us today. We will have Lord’s Table in the morning service. No evening service is scheduled for New Year’s Day.

The Shaeffers are in Ohio this week. Jean Winkler and her daughter Pam are driving to Arizona over the next couple of days. Remember to pray for healing for Sue and Kim.

Enjoy your family. They are a gift from God.

Embracing Truth,

Pastor
