Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 18:1-3 “I will love You, O Lord, my strength. 2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. 3 I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.” David begins this psalm by telling God of his love. Then David describes many things about God’s protection. May I always begin my day with a declaration of my love for Jesus and then rest in who He is.
Pray for Tom and Marie M. Tom was taken by ambulance to Agensian on Sunday. Many tests revealed that he has sepsis – infection in his blood. He had been doctoring a place on his leg since summer. Apparently this has spread to the rest of his system. As of Tuesday afternoon, they were wanting to move him from ICU to a rehab room. He is receiving many antibiotics and has a long ways to go to regain strength. Pray for Tom’s health, Marie’s comfort, and wisdom for us.
Tonight is the last night for Awana Clubbers to complete sections in order to receive awards at our Awana Awards’ Night next week, May 3rd. Tonight is also Awana store. Parents should check their clubbers books to see if there is any last ditch efforts that could be made to complete books. Extra opportunities to say sections may be afforded.
Pastor Shaeffer and I spent 6 hours in Wisconsin Association of Christian School board meetings in the Dells on Monday. Thank you for your prayers. I believe it was a profitable day.
