VBS begins tomorrow!
Men’s Retreat is over. Sigh. It was a disrupted and wet Retreat. But it will make for memories for retreats to come. We had about 30 with us at one point or another between Thursday dinner and our soggy time at Green Bush. Ask the boys if they had a good time. They will likely not tell you about the rain but about football and the fire and knives, machetes, etc.
Lin tells me a whole bunch of ladies came to the ladies night at the parsonage on Friday. So upwards of 50 from TBC – between the men’s and the women’s outings – were part of some kind of relaxed fellowship this weekend.
Cow A Bunga Farm opens for business tomorrow morning during Sunday School. It continues Sunday through Wednesday evening from 6:30p to 8:00p. We are looking forward to a great week. This is a VBS for children from 2 yrs through 8th grade. Our teachers are ready. Pray for a good number of children to attend and for children to be saved. Our regular Sunday and Wednesday evening services will be replaced with VBS.
The Pickerings are moving this week. We are going to take a moment in tomorrow morning’s service to bless them as they leave the fellowship of this Congregation.
The Lord is always good.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
