Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Acts 14:27 “Now when they had come and gathered the church together, they reported all that God had done with them, and that He had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.” We walked through Acts 14 in men’s Bible study this morning. In every city, Paul and Barnabas preached the Word of God. After establishing several churches, they returned to the church who sent them to report on all that God had done. this is a great pattern for us yet today.
Pray for Van and Patty this week. Van has a cancer surgery on Wednesday. It is out patient. Pray for success in removing the cancer and for a quick recovery. I understand that Mollie is weaned off oxygen. Pray for healing for Kathy as she continues with chemo. I have not yet heard how Dave’s heart procedure went yesterday. Our prayers and sympathies are with Linda and Mary Kay this week in the passing of their brother.
Friday is Grandparent’s Day. It’s not too late to let Beth know you are coming. We are planning on a full house! Lunch is in the basement at 11:45 a.m. The program in the auditorium will be finished before 1:30 p.m.
The whole church family – children too! – are invited to the Carter’s home on Saturday. It is a cider squeezing and chili dump. Bring a lawn chair and a strong arm to turn the cider press. Dinner is at 3:00 p.m. Cider making will commence long before that. Bring your apples and come for a great time.
