“For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” Do you believe this today? Is this understanding your confidence?
We have many prayer updates and requests:
– Pray that Dick Winkler receive strength and that his chemo might be effective.
– Pray that Kim Struska would heal and that new treatments might defeat the cancer.
– Pray for Kim, her parents, and Bill and Sue as they fly to California today.
– Pray for Ron Hayden’s ankle surgery tomorrow.
– Praise the Lord that Kathy Rose’s foot would has healed over. Pray for the doctors to know how to keep her kidneys working and her fluids down.
– Pray for Dale and the Struska children on the road.
– Pray for wisdom for finances at the church and school.
– Pray for God’s Word to be effective and powerful in our services on Sunday.
– Pray for our church and school to be godly and spiritual places.
This is the last opportunity for men to say they are coming to the Men for Christ mini rally being held this Saturday at Bay City Baptist Church. Dr. Sam Horn is the preacher. The cost is $10. I will leave Fond du Lac at 7:30a and plan to return around 3:30p. I have called in our reservation, but could make another call if you are interested in coming along.
