Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Ecclesiastes 1:3 “What profit has a man from all his labor in which he toils under the sun?” The answer: none. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west and in the morning the sun rises in the east. Nothing changes. One generation is born, lives, and dies, and then another generation is born. Solomon tells us our greatest efforts under the sun are merely wind chasing. They have no profit. Only what is done for Jesus Christ and for eternity really matters.
Kathy R tells me she is feeling well today. She has two different chemo drugs on Friday. Pray for her healing and continued strength during these treatments.
I am still looking for housing for missionary Lloyd Peace and his son Lucas for Friday, July 30th and Saturday, July 31st. They want to attend EAA on Saturday and then will be reporting to TBC on Sunday morning. Please let me know if you’d be willing to host them.
When I returned from Montana, I made a list of 6 office projects that either needed to be completed or well-begun prior to the beginning of school. Rejoice with me, I scratched off two today!
This weekend is going to be rich. Evangelist Mike Manor will be preaching in the 10:00 a.m. morning service. Then, missionaries Doug and Cheryl Boisvert will be reporting to us in the 6:30 p.m. evening service. I, for one, am looking forward to a great day.
Tomorrow evening’s Bible study will begin in 2 Samuel 11 – David’s adultery and murder. Come learn and then pray with us.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
