Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 141:3-4 “Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips. 4 Do not incline my heart to any evil thing, to practice wicked works with men who work iniquity; and do not let me eat of their delicacies.” When was the last time that you asked God to keep you from sin? Or you asked God to keep you from foolishness? Or you asked God to keep you from bad relationships? This ought to be a part of every believers’ regular prayer life. It is a prayer that is always honoring to God and is always in His will.
We had 11 at our Senior’s lunch and Bible study today at Rolling Meadows as we examined a biblical perspective on “Taxes.” I believe the fellowship was warm and the study was thought provoking.
Continue to pray for Linda M as she works to settle issues related to Tony’s passing. Pray for her to be encouraged and comforted. Pray too for our missionary Lloyd Peace. He is preparing to return to Brazil. There are many steps to this process: covid test here, plane flight, covid test there, slow boat ride, and then a possible quarantine. A letter from the Peace family will be in Sunday’s bulletin to help you pray more effectively.
Wisconsin Family Council’s Julaine Appling is our teacher in Sunday School and again after our church dinner this Sunday, February 28th. She will also greet the Congregation during the morning service. We will be taking a second offering for her in that service.
On Friday the Youth have an activity at the Rabe home at 5:00 p.m. Contact Pastor Charlie if you have any questions.
Get outside and enjoy the warmth. OK, it is not warm. Enjoy the thaw and praise God again for the promise of spring.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
