Dear Trinity Baptist church Family, Psalm 78:1-4 Give ear, O my people, to my law; incline your ears to the words of my mouth. 2 I will open my mouth in a parable;
I will utter dark sayings of old, 3 Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us. 4 We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and His strength and His wonderful works that He has done. I have written below this passage in my Bible “The generation that is reared Wordless will become Godless.” I praise God for the many instructional ministries at Trinity Baptist, especially those that minister God’s Word to children. How very important to the future of our church and our culture is our Sunday School, TBS, Awana, and Junior Church! Let us never hide from our children what we have been told of the law and praises of the LORD.
A huge thank you to all who gave gifts to our school and pastoral staff in offerings this week. We do not take this for granted and are amazed again and again by these demonstrations of your generous love.
Keep praying for Dave, Kathy, and Lisa. They are all doing a bit better. I do have a correction to make. I said to pray for Suzanne’s leg. She tells me “When I had surgery in 2014 it didn’t heal on the top part so that’s why I have back pain and on the bottom of the surgery 1 screw is broken so that causes my leg pain.” Do pray for her doctors to find a solution for her. Pray for healing of Tony M’s cellulitis.
On Friday between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. if you show the TBS flier or promo on your phone to Panera Bread, TBS will receive 20% of your order. I believe we still have a little scrip for Panera at the office if you talk with Beth tomorrow evening. So Chefs, insist on the night off!
Pray for the Word of God to be effective. Pray for Clubbers to be saved in Awana. Pray for those who might visit our church during our Candlelight Christmas Eve. Pray for us to be obedient. Pray for the leaders of our country, state, and community.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
