Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, For those who have been praying: Sandy H is doing better. She had several tests yesterday and is still in the hospital. She is hoping to find out more today. Tony M had a stent put in his heart yesterday. His artery was blocked and he was having great difficulty sleeping. The procedure went well. He went home last night.
Continue to pray for those affected by this season’s colds, flus, and whatever else many are fighting. Jean W has been struggling for about a month now and is no better.
This Thursday, December 12th at 6:30 p.m., is the Trinity Baptist School presentation Contentment Calamity. Much work is being done for this evening. I encourage you to join me in enjoying the evening. We will be collecting a love gift for our teaching staff at this program. It’s a way for our church and school family to be a blessing to those who dedicate their lives to teaching a Biblical worldview in a local church setting.
Teens are invited to the Shaeffer home on Friday, December 13th. This Christmas Activity begins at 6:30 p.m. and costs $5. Adults are invited to a Christmas Open House/Party at the Parsonage on Saturday, December 14th beginning at 5:00 p.m. Bring an hors d’oeuvre, sweet, or snack to share. We will have a short game about 6:30 p.m.
Our Sunday worship service on December 15th at 10:00 a.m. will feature our choir ministering in song. There will still be preaching! Come hear Appalachian Winter as we joy in our Savior’s birth.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
