Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, 1 Kings 8:20 So the Lord has fulfilled His word which He spoke; and I have filled the position of my father David, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the Lord promised; and I have built a temple for the name of the Lord God of Israel. As I prepared for Sunday School last week, I was impressed by the repetition in Solomon’s prayer that God had kept His promises to David in causing Solomon to complete the temple in Jerusalem. I was blessed to know that my God is a promise keeper. He honors His Word.
We learned yesterday that Naiza and her baby are doing well. I also learned this morning that Mollie H is home from the hospital. Pray for her full recovery from her Covid pneumonia.
Sam K texted me yesterday with the sorrowful news that his mom has passed away. Please pray for comfort and strength for Sam, Lisa, and their families as they go through these days.
Another Awana year begins tomorrow evening at 6:30 p.m. It would be a good idea to come a little early for registration and uniform/book purchases. Our leaders are looking forward to a great year.
Wednesday also begins another year of Van leading the adult Bible study that meets at the parsonage from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. They will be going through the John’s epistles. This will be a rich study with great fellowship. If you are new this year to this study, come to the church parking lot and walk the sidewalk through the arbor to the back door of the parsonage.
Missionary Caleb Wagner to Myanmar will be sharing his burden in adult Sunday School this coming Lord’s Day as well as preaching in our evening service.
We had 5 at our Tuesday, 6:00 a.m. Bible study this morning! We are walking through the book of Acts and will be in chapter 9 next week. I’d love to see more men join us.
This Saturday is Men’s Prayer breakfast. Breakfast is at 8:00 a.m. Please sign up so I may be prepared. After fellowship and food, we take turns praying. We are finished before 9:30 a.m.
May you rejoice in the goodness of Our God this day.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
