Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, We had a great church picnic! I counted 74 when I wrote down the names of all those I remember seeing at the picnic on Sunday. Congratulations to Bryan Abel and Levi Shaeffer for winning the Corn Hole Tournament. A special thanks to the Carter Homebuilders group for once again taking the lead on preparing for this picnic. And a big thank you to Cory and Curt for staying up all Saturday night to roast the pig! What an awesome meal it made.
Trinity Baptist School is in week 2. Thank you for your prayers. I think we are settling in for a great school year. Kath Rabe is in the kitchen, so today is Taco Tuesday!
Tomorrow is our last Wednesday of the year on summer schedule. There is an Awana Leaders meeting at 7:00 p.m. All who work in Awana in any capacity are asked to be at this meeting.
Missionary Cindy Hershey will be our speaker tomorrow at our 7:00 p.m. Bible study. All teens and adults who are not Awana leaders are welcome. Cindy ministers in Aguascalientes, Mexico. We will take an offering for Cindy tomorrow night.
This Lord’s Day is Promotion Sunday. That means about half of our young people get a new Sunday School class/teacher beginning this Sunday. This is a good week to begin a new habit if you have not been coming to Sunday School. We have Lord’s Table Sunday morning and Charlie is our preacher on Sunday evening.
Pray for Ross Purcell. He had a stent put in and is home according to Carol’s facebook posts. Pray God’s work in our church this Lord’s Day. Pray for people to receive Jesus. Pray for our church members to live for Jesus.
