Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Proverbs 6:6-8 “Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, 7 Which, having no captain, overseer or ruler, 8 Provides her supplies in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest.” My first thought when I read this text is “Don’t be lazy.” I think there is a larger message of “be prepared.” We ought to consider our future. We ought to consider how what we do today is impacting our tomorrow.
It’s election day. I hope you have prepared to vote. If you have not yet done so, consider how God would have you to vote. This election matters!
Tomorrow is Awana Grand Prix. Concessions will be available for purchase at 5:30 p.m. We will have hamburgers, cheese burgers, and hot dogs. You will be able to add chips and a drink. Seroogy’s chocolate will be available for dessert! The races will begin at 6:30 p.m. Every care gets to race at least 3 times. There is no adult Bible study this Wednesday.
Sunday evening we will have our Quarterly Congregational meeting during our 6:30 p.m. service. Come listen to reports and participate in the choises we make as a local body of Christ.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
