Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family: Open the windows! Let this fresh wonderful spring air in. And while you are at it, open your heart and let the Spirit of God convert you to think like Jesus this day.
Tonight has been anticipated by the 3 graduating seniors of TBS for a long time. Andras Muranyi, Mackenzie Rabe, and Mahri Westra will receive their high school diplomas this evening. Congratulations to the TBS Class of 2018! The TBS class of 2030 will also be receiving their Kindergarten diplomas tonight.
On Saturday our church family has the opportunity to be encouraged and instructed concerning our responsibility to tell others about Jesus. I have appreciated the ministry of The Exchange through its materials and I am looking forward to growing much in my understanding this week. The seminar is this Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., Sunday during our normal 3 meeting times, and then Monday through Wednesday evening. Anyone can come, but lunch and materials are limited to those who have signed up. The whole church family will benefit from the material presented on Sunday – whether or not you attend the rest of the serminar.
If you are not able to attend these events, might I ask you to pray for them? Pray for our graduates and their families. Pray for the ministry of our school to have a lasting impact for God in their lives. Also pray for The Exchange seminar. Pray that our church might receiving a new vision of our responsibility of telling the good news of Jesus to those who are not converted.
Pray for our elderly. Pray for strength and wisdom for those who are care givers.
Pray for Mark Shaeffer. Jeremy has learned that cancer may have returned to his dad’s body. Also Jeremy has yet to have a definitive diagnosis of his ailments.
Do you remember what Jesus prayed for us? Among other things, He prayed we would be one. Pray that God would continue to give Trinity Baptist a spirit of oneness as we serve together for the glory of Jesus.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
