Thursday, January 11, 2018 – Kim’s Memorial
Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family: Kim Stuska’s Memorial Service is Saturday, January 13th at 3:00 p.m. I encourage you to attend and also to pray for this service. Pray that God be glorified as we remember Kim’s ministry and influence among us. Pray also that the message of the faith and the cross is plain. A dinner in the church basement will follow the service and give family, friends, and the church a chance to fellowship.
This coming Lord’s Day we begin new adult Bible studies during the 8:45 a.m. Sunday School hour. Van and Nestor will be teaching the book of Daniel and I will be leading a class on evangelism we are calling The Exchange. If your family has not made a habit of coming to Sunday School, this is a good time to start.
Pastor Shaeffer is our preacher this coming Sunday evening. We had a great turn out for Officer Erik Foster this past Sunday. Let’s fill the house again for the preaching of God’s Word!
Pray for one another. Many are hurting. Some are confused. Some are walking away from God. Pray that God’s Word will be big in our mind. We are in a second and final sermon from Zephaniah this Sunday considering some advice the prophet gives for times of judgment.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
P.S. Don’t forget about the Baby Bottle Fundraiser. Bring the bottles back on January 28th!
