Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family,
Psalm 119:169 “Let my cry come before You, O Lord; give me understanding according to Your Word.” Do you want understanding? Do you desire to know what is going on in this messed-up world? Understanding comes from God’s Word.
We had a joyous evening at Awana Grand Prix. At one point, 124 were counted in the building. Besides clubbers, there were parents, grandparents, and friends here for the evening. We all heard a short message brought by Commander Braker and then watched each clubber’s car race at least 3 times. Thanks to the many who made this night a success.
I would covet your prayers for my travels tomorrow. Unless I am surprised by jury duty, I intend to travel to Hastings, MN for my Uncle Charlie’s funeral. I’ll be on the road about 10 hours. Pray for my safety and that I might be a blessing to someone.
Pray also for those going to ladies’ retreat. I believe about 20 from TBC will be joining about 500 women from around the state for a 2-day conference held at Green Lake Conference Center. Pray for their safety and spiritual growth.
Saturday is Men’s Prayer Breakfast. We meet at 8:00 a.m. in the church basement for breakfast followed by a sweet time of prayer. We are finished by 9:30 a.m. Dads are encouraged to bring their sons. Teens are welcome without dads.
On Sunday, April 7th, we are privileged to receive the ministry of the Chorale of Maranatha Baptist University. They will be presenting a package of music both in the teen/adult Sunday School hour (8:45 a.m.) and again in the Morning Service. Our preacher will be Dr. David Anderson, the new President of MBU.
We will have Church Dinner this week. We moved it from the last Sunday of the month to this week so as to feed our guests. MBU will be bringing about 45 students and staff. So bring what you would normally bring for church dinner times 2! Stay for a great time of fellowship. There will be no 6:30 p.m. evening service again this week.
May we fear God more than men. May our thoughts be guided by God’s Word.
Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints.
