Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Tomorrow in the morning service we will be in Ephesians 3:13-21. This text contains a pray of Paul’s for the Ephesians. The heart of his prayer is that they might know the love of Christ. As a toddler has no real understanding of the love of their parent for them, I am sure we have no idea of the dimensions and weight of God’s love for us. May I chose this day to walk in the knowledge of this love.
Pastor Shaeffer, Amber, and 8 teens safely made it to Ankeny, IA this morning about 12:30 a.m. They had a quick night’s sleep in a hotel and are up, breakfasted, and at Faith Fest at Faith Baptist Bible College today. Jeremy said the trip went well. Pray for their physical and spiritual strength as they participate in many activities and listen to preaching. Pray for their safety as they return home tonight.
Rob and Robert T have been working in northern Minnesota since June. Bob tells me they are ready to be home! Pray for their safety and spiritual growth while they are gone.
Linda M is spending time with her brother Steve who is on hospice. She says he is comfortable and in good spirits. Please pray for his salvation.
The pastors and our wives will be in Hudson, WI for the annual meeting of the Wisconsin Fellowship of Baptist Churches on Monday and Tuesday of this week. Pray for our safety, spiritual growth, and that we might be an encouragement to other churches and pastors in Wisconsin.
Next Thursday our school will be serving at the Kiwanis Pork Fest. It is a fundraiser for our school, but time and again it has been an opportunity for our school to interact in a positive way with the people of our community. Pray for good success.
Pray for strength for Kathy. Pray for those who are sick. Pray for the spiritual maturity of our church, that would would response rightly to the Word of God.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
