Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Proverbs 26:1 “As snow in summer and rain in harvest, So honor is not fitting for a fool.” I know this is not an appropriate application of this proverb, but I am glad a season is coming when snow will not be “fitting”! I pray this finds you rejoicing in the Providence of our our kind God on this Saturday morning.
Thank you again for your prayers for my health. My healing from surgery is progressing as should be expected. In my opinion, the surgery is already a success. I also had a conversation with the doctor that encouraged me concerning my last CT scan. So I am praising the Lord for the measure of good health he has given to me.
Pray for the traveling of Tony and Beth, Dave and Kathy. Pray for health and encouragement for our shut-in folks: Jean, Janet, and Bonnie.
Pray for peace – both in Ukraine and always in Jerusalem. Pray for our elected officials that they might know truth and make wise choices.
Pastor Charlie tells me there was good attendance and participation from the teens both in Thursday’s Bible study and at Friday’s activity.
Tomorrow morning we are in Revelation 2:1-7 – The Church of Ephesus. Darryl continues his teaching from “The Drama of Job” in our adult study during the Sunday School hour. We are not going to have choir or an evening service this Sunday, February 20th. This is rare for our church. The pastors will be traveling to Antigo for the Wisconsin Fellowship’s annual Pastors’ and Wives’ Retreat.
Next Sunday, February 27th, is already Church Dinner Day. Missionary Tim Smith – a veteran missionary to hard to minister places in Europe – will be our preacher in Sunday School and the morning service.
Lord the Lord and serve Him as you serve others this day. Even your family.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
