Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 133:1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! Truly this verse was reflected at the 12th Annual Men’s Retreat. 27 men and boys enjoyed good food, great fun, wonderful weather, and challenges from the Word of God. I saw a shooting star at 3:15 a.m. this morning!
Tomorrow is Lord’s Table Sunday. It will be the first time we have observed this Ordinance with elements since March. If you are not comfortable passing the bread and juice, perhaps speak to an usher or those around you. If you feel you ought not participate with the physical elements because of COVID concerns, we understand. More importantly, God knows what is in your heart. I look forward to our opportunity to renew our remembrance of Jesus in this manner.
What about face coverings? I will be wearing one. I will take it off when I preach and lead Lord’s Table. God knows all about this too!
Pray for Carolyn Price’s pastor friend. He took a turn for the poorer this weekend.
Jean Winkler has heart surgery on Monday. They will use cardiac catheterization to repair an aorta valve in her heart. She is confident in this surgeon. She will be in the hospital two days to recover. Pray for wisdom and skill for the doctor. Pray for Jean’s strength and recovery.
Pray for one another. Many are hurting.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
