Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family,

Psalm 46:1-2 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;”

We are half way through October! Wow, this is going fast. Tomorrow is Senior Lunch already. Once again we invite seasoned saints to join us at noon at Rolling Meadows. We will order off the menu and then after lunch share a Bible study from 2 Thessalonians 1.

Wednesday night is Pirate Night at Awana!

Friday is Grandparent’s Day at Trinity Baptist School. This open house is for anyone who wants to visit our school and celebrate students and Grandparents with us. Lunch is at 11:45 a.m. Please make a reservation on the school website: trinityfdl.net and then “school.” A short program will follow lunch.

Ladies are welcome to fellowship at Mugs and Muffins at the Braker home at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Last evening at our Congregational Meeting we declared the end of our “chair fund.” Generous gifting has bought in the resources needed to purchase what we can use. We also voted to move ahead with the installation of security cameras for the inside and outside of our building. And we are working on improving the lighting in our parking lot. I rejoice for the many who were part of last night’s meetings and the great spirit that we shared.

Serve the Lord this week. Jesus is worthy of our efforts!

Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints.

Pastor
