Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 90:1-2 Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. 2 Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. Where is my “home?” Is God where I live, my dwelling place?
I praise the Lord for the opportunity to love and serve Him this week. It is a busy week for our church! We have school fundraisers going, the second week of Awana and new Bible studies are on Wednesday, there are games for those in our school sports, field trips for our school on Friday, and a Teen Bible Study on Thursday evening.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 13th, is our monthly Senior Lunch and Bible Study. We meet at Rolling Meadows Restaurant at noon and order off the menu. Then we will have a short Bible study from Colossians 1. I look forward to the fellowship.
Do you check out the Here a Little in the bulletin? It is a way to get to know your church family and be aware of where the preaching is going? Also, read the bulletin inserts. They will keep you up to date on our missionaries and other things going on in our part of the world. We cannot talk about all these things during the church services.
Next Lord’s Day, September 18, Kim Heimerl, veteran missionary to Brazil will be speaking in Sunday School. I look forward to hearing of her burden and ministry.
Continue to pray for the Christians in Ukraine. The BEIM website has access to videos describing the ongoing ministry to refugees and the military in that war.
My uncle Dave is recovering from his chemo and radiation. His goal is to gain strength so he can have surgery. Pray for God to ease his pain and give him strength.
