Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Last evening Pastor Charlie preached from Psalm 80. Three times in that psalm we read “Restore us, O God; cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.” After church, Charlie and I were talking about his teaching. Brittany was nearby holding Jack. I called to Jack. He smiled a brief smile and buried his face in his mother’s shoulder. There was recognition and acceptance. That’s what I want from God and that’s what He wants from me. When I look to God, I want to know His smile. Perhaps think of including this in your prayers: “Cause Your face to shine on me.”
Karrie M tells us of a grandchild of her childhood best friend – baby Walker. They took him in because of extreme pain. They have found he has three masses and are suspecting neuroblastoma or lymphoma. Please pray for wisdom, healing, and God’s grace for this family.
Continue to pray for healing for Ron H. We learned Saturday that he had sepsis in addition to congestive heart failure. He is better and was hoping to get out of the hospital early this week. Continue to pray for Kathy R’s healing and wisdom concerning the next treatment.
Pastor Charlie tells me they had a great spirit and a good time at the youth activity in spite of the cruddy weather on Saturday evening. Praise God for good kids with a good attitude! Pray for our youth, that they might have a heart to love and serve God.
I praise the Lord for a great weekend at Trinity Baptist Church. We had a grand Grandparent’s Day on Friday. We had good attendance and a wonderful spirit in church on Sunday. God is good.
Love God. Read His Word. Pray for one another.
Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints.
