Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 144:3-4 Lord, what is man, that You take knowledge of him? Or the son of man, that You are mindful of him? 4 Man is like a breath; His days are like a passing shadow. Time is fleeting. Our lives are but a vapor. Here it is the middle of November. So why would the Eternal God pour out such love and grace upon us? Praise God that He does.
Praise the Lord for another Lord’s Day. I rejoice to know that God is working among us. A kindergartner in Lin’s school class received Christ last week. Because of Lin’s Bible classes, he went home and asked his mom, “Are we Christians?” She was able to sweetly lead him to the Savior.
Tomorrow is Senior Lunch Day! We meet at Rolling Meadows Restaurant and order at noon. After lunch we will have a Bible study from Colossians 1:21-23. We will be talking about our salvation!
We will not have Awana or our regular Bible study on Wednesday, November 23rd. Instead there will be a Thanksgiving service at church at 6:30 p.m. Bring the family and join in corporate thanks.
i know it is a month ahead, but there are special events that ought to be on your calendar. Our school’s Christmas program is on Thursday, December 15th at 6:30 p.m. Our church choir’s Christmas presentation will be on Sunday, December 18th at 10:00 a.m. On Sunday, Christmas Day, we will only have our 10:00 a.m. worship. Our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will again be at 6:00 p.m.
Jean W is scheduled to have shots in her back tomorrow to relieve her pain. My uncle Dave is hoping to go home from the hospital today! Tim S says that his nephew who is in the Ukrainian army has received Christ. Pray for those fighting viruses going through our ministry. Kathy R is praising God that her tests are clear. Lisa S asks for prayer for her mom in changing doctors. A young man named Bryan asks for prayer for his dental needs.
May God be pleased to dwell among us as we worship and serve Him.
