Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Jonah 1 begins “Now the word of the LORD came to Jonah … ” Then 3 times in the first chapter we read that Jonah fled “from the presence of the Lord.” Why did Jonah run? We all know the answer. It’s because he did not want to do what God had plainly told him to do? Are you running?

Please pray for Donna B. She is 90 and is going to have a heart procedure done tomorrow, hopefully by catheter. Pray that this is able to be done and that her heart will remain strong. Donna loves the Lord and enjoys the preaching of the word she is hearing at Trinity.

Tom M is home! He will be returning to the hospital daily for an infusion for the next week as part of his antibiotic treatment. He is growing stronger daily. Thank you for your prayers for him and praise God for this healing.

Awana Awards night is this Wednesday, May 3rd. Much good work has been accomplished this year, so there are a lot of awards to give out. The Mac N Cheese buffet begins at 5:30 p.m. in the church basement. The awards presentations will be in the auditorium at 6:30 p.m. Come for both or just the awards. Be a blessing with your presence.

On Saturday we have a double-header that I have not promoted well. We will have Men’s Prayer Breakfast at 8:00 a.m. Reply to this email or let me know another way if you are coming. Also a spring cleaning workday also begins at 8:00 a.m. We will wash walls, chairs, and windows … and anything else that needs to be done. We normally quit this day before noon. Bring your family and come give the Lord some of your Saturday. I praise the Lord for the many who regularly give of their time to keep our building in good condition. This building is a valuable tool in God’s service in Fond du Lac.

Looking ahead, trumpeter Don Shire will be in concert during the morning service on Mother’s Day, May 14th!

Pray for those who are grieving. Pray for those who may be tempted to walk away from the Lord. Pray for our country. Pray for a revival to being in us.

Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints. Pastor
