Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, I rejoice in the good day of ministry and fellowship I was able to enjoy yesterday. I appreciated the preaching and person of Evangelist Mike Manor in the morning. Then, last evening, my eyes were opened to a new understanding of Philippians 1:6 as Missionary Doug Boisvert taught the Word prior to his comprehensive ministry report. God is very good to us.
Kathy R was praising God yesterday that she was feeling well after receiving two chemo drugs on Friday. She is “off” this week and then returns for another 3 week cycle. Pray that these drugs have a noticeable shrinking impact upon the nodule in her lung.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, July 13th is our monthly Senior Lunch and Bible study. Rather than meet at Rolling Meadows, we are having a picnic in the parsonage yard. I am making hamburgers and will provide condiments, table ware, and drinks. I will have chairs, but if you have a favorite lawn chair you are welcome to bring it. You may bring either a salad or dessert to share as part of our meal. If bringing something hinders your attendance in any way, please just come! All those 55ish and wiser are welcome!
Please pray for our VBS. The Armor of God begins in Sunday School on the 18th and continues Sunday through Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. VBS is for all those 3 years through going into 8th grade.
Also, if you have not done so, please consider being part of our Kohler service team on Friday and/or Saturday, July 30th/31st. We need you!
Embracing Truth, Pastor
