Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family,

Psalm 121:1-2 “I will lift up my eyes to the hills — from whence comes my help? 2 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121 is one of my favorites. Remember, today, tomorrow, and always, your help comes from the LORD.

I am using Psalm 121 as my text for the message for Gary Heinz funeral tomorrow. Pray for Gary’s daughter, Theresa D, her family, and Gary’s siblings and extended family. Pray for comfort in their time of sorrow. And praise God for the confidence we have in Gary’s new home. Since my Dad’s recent passing, I have said to several, “He now knows our hope.” The same is true of Gary.

I praise the Lord for a wonderful ministry by our church choir. Devin, Roberta, and the choir did an amazing job. I believe our Lord was praised and glorified through the music. I felt liberty in preaching the gospel yesterday. Do pray for our seasonal services that some might come to know Jesus as their Savior.

Our school’s program is this coming Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. There will be choir music by all the students of TBS – preschool through high school. There will also be poems and a short reader’s theater. At this program we will receive an offering that will be used as a bonus for our school faculty. Here is a great opportunity to be a blessing.

Because of the funeral, there will be no Senior Lunch and Bible Study as was previously on our calendar. We will meet again on the 23rd Tuesday of January, the 21st.

Be a blessing to someone today!

Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints.

Pastor
