Letter from Carolyn Price

Dear praying friends,
It has been quite some time without communicating with you.  Most of you who know me well, know that once I get started in something, I pretty much throw everything I have into it.  Project Paidion (our lessons project) has been exactly that…and there is still so much to do!  Since starting this project, I do not check my email as often as I used to do.  I am trying to keep up with everything, but have begun to realize that some things are just going to have to take a “back seat” so to speak (like checking Email or Facebook everyday.)
We now have close to 120 lessons done (this includes 2 series of lessons that are almost finished.)  My daughter needed something for her Sunday school class and so I have stopped long enough to help her with that.  (She and I are doing a series of lessons on the “A, B, C’s of Creation.”)
I have several blessings to share:
Blessing 1:  Celia, who oversees the lessons that are being colored by the girls at the home where my daughter works, was coloring a lesson during one of her breaks at school.  One of her classmates asked her what she was doing and Celia was able to explain what we are doing and share the story with her friend.  An unusual way for the lesson to be used to say the least!
Blessing 2:  We were able to purchase the photocopier this week and it has already been greatly used!!!
Blessing 3:  I was also able to buy a laser jet printer – and cannot believe how fast it is!  My old printer was soooooo slow!  We are using the printer to print out the originals, and the photocopier is used to make…well, copies!
120 lessons may sound like a great deal, but it really isn’t.  Our church here in Santa Cruz has 4 classes every week.  120 divided by 4 only equals 30 weeks of lessons.  As there are 52 weeks in a year…well, you see why this project is far from over.  I most likely will be going to Vallegrande again in January as Rosa and her family, as well as Marisol, are a tremendous help and encouragement in this project.  Please continue to pray for me…for wisdom, wise use of my time, and my health.  I am no spring chicken – and I find I am usually exhausted by the end of the day after working on the computer for so long.  When I look at the growing stacks of lessons that we have been able to finish, however, I am so grateful for all that the Lord has allowed us to do.  Thank you so very much for your part…for upholding us through prayer (and yes, giving) in this endeavor.
I hope to write again before Christmas, so I will close for now.  May God bless each and every one!
Your sister in Christ in Bolivia,
Carolyn Price
