Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Proverbs 23:15-16 “My son, if your heart is wise, my heart will rejoice—indeed, I myself; 16 Yes, my inmost being will rejoice when your lips speak right things.” Lin, Sarah, and I have one more day with Zeke’s family in Great Falls, MT. We head home tomorrow morning and intend to be in our own beds Friday night. It has been a joy to be here this week. As I read Proverbs 23 this morning, it confirmed the reason this has been a great week: wise choices. As I observe Zeke and Hannah in their work, their home, their relationships, their child rearing, and their service for God at Emmanuel Bible Church, I observe the consequences of wise choices. Wise choices are the foundation of inter-generational joy. Foolish choices result in remorse, division, and regret.
Trinity Baptist has Bible study and prayer tonight for all ages. This coming Lord’s Day, Missionary Nate Troester with Master’s Craftsmen is our teacher in Sunday School. In the morning service we will consider the sovereignty of God in human history from Daniel 11. Sunday is Church Dinner Day! Bring a bit extra because of our visitors! Then we will take a short break before our annual Congregational Meeting at 1:00 p.m. in the church auditorium.
The printed annual report will be available Sunday morning. I encourage members to be at our meeting. It is important for church members to know what is going on and to have a part in it.
