Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Three times John records for us that Pilate said of Jesus, “I find no fault in Him.” On this day that Christianity calls Good Friday, lets us remember that Jesus who died for our sin was without fault. God was pleased to put our sin on Him who knew no sin. What a Savior!
This Lord’s Day begins with a Passion Service at 8:45 a.m. We will consider our Lord’s death in song, Word, and at the Lord’s Table. Then at 10:00 a.m. we will focus on the resurrection of Jesus.
The Ministry Committee is recommending that our Lord’s Table offering be used to send relief to believers in Myanmar who are especially suffering under the heavy hand of the new government. We will take this “second offering” at the end of the first service. You may designate also to this gift during the regular offering during the second service.
Remember to pray for the families and friends of the two young men who died this week on Lake Winnebago.
My sister, Ruth B, made it here safely from Scotland. She will be with us for parts of the next few months. Pray for her husband and family as they continue in ministry without her. Pray for Shaeffers and others who are traveling during the next couple of days. Pray for Patty F’s brother’s recovery from heart surgery. Pray for Linda M for healing from her fall and for strength during the many changes following Tony’s passing. Pray for our church – that we be one in Christ and that we exalt Jesus and God’s Word in our worship.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
