Doug Boisvert home from African teaching trip
Thank you for praying with us for Doug’s last trip through Kenya, Uganda and South Sudan! The teaching showed encouraging signs of being well received and great potential for being repeated by the students.
As shared before leaving, these three sites were all in transition mode. In Kenya, Doug was assisting Pastor Thomas establish his first satellite site for CAMSOM. This went very well with Thomas taking the lead and established as the main teacher even with Doug’s presence, PTL! The Ugandan site is well on it;s way to completing the Diploma level of training and introducing a new vernacular training at the basic level. South Sudan has established it’s training program to move ahead with 63 returning students as well.
Doug did pick up a “flu” type illness and has taken a few days to recover from the congestion and cough. That along with the 8 hour time zone jump has kept him from bouncing back right away. But we praise God for being able to serve Him and rep[resent you before our brethren overseas. Thanks for praying with us!
