Corolyn Price teaching teachers tomorrow
Dear praying friends, 1 August 2014 “And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.” Matthew 18:5
The pictures on the next page were taken while I was in Tarija teaching a seminar for Sunday School workers. It was very cold the entire week, but in spite of that, we had a wonderful turn out with over 30 attending each night.
I had a wonderful time getting to know Pastor Natanael, his wife Soledad and their two children. They were great hosts, taking me every day to different places in and around Tarija. Of course, the best part was the time spent each night with those attending the course. Thank you for praying for these classes.
This coming Sunday, I will begin teaching at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Santa Cruz. We will be doing the classes a bit different this time, meeting every Sunday in the afternoon. I am told that we will have 22 students. Please pray for this class as well.
I am not sure how many of you are aware, but plans have been in the making for the past three years to build housing for me here in Santa Cruz. When I returned to Bolivia in 2011, I brought money with me that I had taken out of my savings to build an apartment when I moved to Santa Cruz from Sucre. However, once I arrived in Santa Cruz, I made the decision to use the money to help Rene and Rafahel do some much needed work on their home instead. Now, after three years, we are ready to begin the building of my apartment on the second floor, thereby taking care of the problem they have had with their level roof. (It poured inside as well as outside during the rainy season!) Two days ago, many of the materials that will be needed were delivered and so the work has started. Most of the work will be done my son-in-law and his uncle. I am not sure how long it will take, but I have to admit I am excited. I’ll keep you informed as the apartment progresses. God has been so very good to me.
May God bless you all,
Your sister in Christ in Bolivia, Carolyn
